The Moving Process...

This is what you'll see when you stop by 1800. And a lot of emptiness inside. Never fear, October 30th is near. You ready? We are...almost!

Changes...

I know we have not kept up with the blog and I am sorry about keeping everyone in the dark. Here are some things I could share with you all. We finished painting the shop and installed the new floors, still keeping the clean look. We are picking up the new counter tonight which is my favorite piece in the whole shop, this one is secret but let just say it is multifunctional. We submitted production of our men's collection and we have 6 new designs, a couple of colabs, introducing hoodies and crewneck sweaters and crossing my fingers for a fitted. With the sudden change in location and structure, we have decided to change our name to INVS. Don't be weirded out we are still Invisible Stripes, just shorten the name like when your friend's name is Katherine and you just call her Kat. We are still on schedule with Friday, October 30th.

Invisible Stripes Closing!!!

To our readers,

Thank you to everyone that have supported us from day one, we would not be where we are today if it wasn't for our family, friends, friends of friends and our customers. But unfortunately we will have to close our doors on Saturday, October 3rd 2009 to our 1800 San Jose Avenue store because of the downturn in the economy. Our blog and online store will continue to be updated. I am truly sorry for the short notice and I hope you can understand our position.


With that said I am excited to let everyone know that we will be moving to a new location located in Downtown San Francisco! Change is good! We have decided that Invisible Stripes needed a better location to show our range and creativity that we are capable of. We will re-open our doors late October but we will keep you updated regularly.

To continue to push the creative boundaries of children's clothing, Invisible Stripes has teamed up with Crayola to produce the “Color-Me-Circus Tee” line, which debuts this Holiday '09 season. The line is a series of 3 t-shirts with Invisible Stripes’ signature UV-ray detail and a printed graphic to color in with the provided Crayola fabric markers. The 3 designs are: Leo the Lion, Barry the Bear, and Ellie the Elephant.

Invisible Stripes at The KIDShow! Aug 31st- Sept 2nd!

Hard at work to prepare for the trade show at the end of this month. We've been designing, editing, photoshoot-ing, marketing, coldcalling, emailing, and promoting non-stop to prepare for the release of our Holiday '09 line- and we still have a lot of stuff to do!

Just In Ralph Lauren Infant Footwear

We just received the new Ralph Lauren collection for Fall 09. There are different styles to chose from such as low tops, high tops, laced, or even velcro if you hate tying laces. The collection features corduroy, canvas, leather and suede upper. The size range is 2 to 4 which converts to 3 to 12 months.

Our favorite is the slip on which is part of their Premier Collection. They come in two styles: The Classic with embroidered polo in plaid and The Skull and Bones in velvet. Both have a quilted sole and lining for added comfort.
